Advice on Boys and Best Friends...?

I'm 16 years old and I don't date alot, so i really need advice. I have this best friend and we are basically like twins. I love him alot... and sometimes its more than just friendly love. I really think I love him. (Side note: I'm not those girls who hang around a guy for a day and are like I LOVE HIM!) I've known him since 8th grade so it's been about 4 years and we are practically family. And it turns out we used to live near each other when we were little and were friends at the playground but we both moved and forgot.. (our parents remembered each other) .. I don't know what to do.. Whenever we talk (he calls me EVERYDAY) he always manages to say something to make me think he likes me.. but then he talks about his girlfriends and how hot they are and stuff.. so i really doubt it. I remember i had a boyfriend once and he flipped out because i didnt tell him (another example) but it turns out he was mad because he thought i was keeping secrets...I don't know what to do!! I have no one else to ask because my mother proved to be NO HELP WHATSOEVER!! I'm so confused.. Someone HelpAdvice on Boys and Best Friends...?
Just tell him how you feel, and ask him if he likes you. Then if he doesn't then move on, but remain friends also ask him if he has a gf (if not already).
